| The seniors had a turbulent year, never string more than a few decent
performances together. Played well against the higher sides but struggled terribly away from home
to finish 8th. Relegation was a threat right to the end. Reserves again had another strong year to finish 2nd.
The Best & Fairest award for the Seniors went to Luke Thompson for the second year straight
while the Reserves award was won by Ari Mamalis. Luke also took out the league best and fairest (first Cobras player to do so).
The top goalscorers for the year were Onur Tufan (seniors) and Andrew Illiopoulos (reserves).

| The club finished a respectable 4th in Prov 2
while the Reserves finished Runners Up. The Best & Fairest award for the Seniors went to
Luke Thompson while the Reserves award was won by Fatah Harun. The top goalscorers for the year
were: Senior - Onur Tufan (9 goals) Reserves - Andrew Illiopoulos (9 goals).
Greg Thomaidis won the inaugural President's Award.

| The Seniors end their championship drought by winning the
Prov 3 S/E title coached by Kon Lantouris in his first year. It has been 13 years since the
club’s last championship and the title was secured with 2 points to spare. The Reserves were
also successful in defending their title under the first year coaching of Jim Nikolas.
The team has collected 4 titles in 6 years. A lavish Best & Fairest night at the Crown Casino
lauded Ange Gogis winning the Seniors award while Peter Roussos won the Reserves award.
Top goalscorer for the Seniors was Peter Alissaphos while Savas Varsamis won the award in
the Reserves.

| Seniors have a similar season to 2004 where they start badly but are clearly the form side of the competition during the 2nd half of the year.
Whilst losing only one game in the run home, they again miss out on promotion to finish 3rd.
The reserves play some brilliant football throughout the year, losing just one game, scoring 83 goals and conceding only 9.
Despite this, the Cobras first championship was only secured on the final match day when bitter rivals Boorondara
are surprisingly beaten.

| Club changes name after forming an alliance with Caulfield United Junior Soccer Club and plays its home games at Victory Park, Patterson Rd Bentleigh and also uses its facility at Princess Highway Reserve, Clayton as a training ground.
After lengthy discussions with the VSF the club was placed in Prov 3.
The club fights valiantly through the season, however is always playing catch up after an ordinary beginning.
The seniors finish strongly finishing in 4th place.

| For the first time the Reserves team won the championship under Steve Andrinopoulos

| The club changed its name to Braeside United and played its games at the Lemnian Community Centre at Braeside. It also played in the S/F of the Prov Cup when they were leading Westvale Olympic 4-1 at half time only to lose 5-4 in extra time.

| The team sqandered an opportunity to be promoted to Prov 2 when in the last game against Sth Wantirna it conceded a penalty in the 85th minute to draw 1-1 and miss promotion by 1 point. The team was coached by John Kennedy. |
| The team only dropped two games in its first year playing in the VSF at Gardiner Reserve in Malvern to win the Prov 5 championship coached by Terry Lantouris.

| In its first year in VASA as Malvern Lemnos the team recorded its first championship. The team also won the VASA Cup with a 1-0 victory over Sunshine with John Stefanou the scorer.

| The club was formed by various soccer enthusiasts amongst the Greek (Lemnian) community and the team represented Dandenong Olympic in the Victorian Amateur Soccer Association (VASA).
